I'm working on an ASP.NET Core 8 and Angular project and encountering an error with the Vite proxy setup. I'm trying to proxy requests to my ASP.NET Core API, but I keep getting a connection refused error. Here is my proxy configuration: const PROXY_CONFIG = [ { context: [ "/weatherforecast", ], target: "https://127.0.0.1:40443", secure: false } ] When I try to access the /weatherforecast endpoint, I get the following error in the terminal: [vite] http proxy error: /weatherforecast Error: connect ECONNREFUSED 127.0.0.1:40443 at TCPConnectWrap.afterConnect [as oncomplete] (node:net:1555:16) Things I've tried: Verified that my ASP.NET Core application is running and listening on port 40443. Ensured that the SSL certificate is correctly set up. Confirmed that there are no firewall or network issues blocking the port. Checked that the environment variables for HTTPS are set correctly.
