Angular not detecting changes in scss files

I’m using Angular v20 and Tailwind CSS v4.

I have everything set up as per the documentation.

Tailwind works great — for instance, if I define an element’s class with a Tailwind utility class, the view is immediately refreshed accordingly.

But to keep things organized, I have created a _custom.scss file so I can define some custom “components” to reuse across the application.

The problem is, if I modify this file, nothing changes in the views. However, if I reload the app, the new styles are applied correctly.

Angular is set up to use SCSS.

in .postcssrc.json I have this

In styles.scss I have this

@use "tailwindcss";
@use "custom";


In _custom.scss I have this

@layer components { ... }


Am i missing something?
