I am trying to develop angular on OpenBSD with node20. The same LazyVim IDE and project configuration works flawlessly on Slackware Linux Current (tested with node22 and node20) and DragonFlyBSD (node18). However, on OpenBSD in my LazyVim IDE I get the following errors in my .ts files: For all import statements: "File '/home/marto/repos/angular/finances/node_modules/@angular/core/index.d.ts' is not a module. [2306]" For component decorators: "This syntax requires an imported helper but module 'tslib' cannot be found. [2354]" When I try to go to a definition: "No results found for lsp_definitions" My node version is v20.18.2., typescript is 5.7.3, angular is 19.2.13. tslib is available inside node_modules. I have enabled just these two language plugins: " Enabled Languages: (2) ● lang.angular ● lang.typescript ". In mason, it says: " Installed ◍ angular-language-server ◍ vtsls " I checked that the needed processes, includingly the angular language server are running in the console as soon as I open a .ts file. The processes are the same I get when I start nvim with a .ts file in Linux and DragonFly. However, something else is still going wrong on OpenBSD. I would be happy to troubleshoot that with your help. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Best regards, Martin Continue reading...
